PROJECT OVERVIEW

Haizoom Couture is a luxury fashion-tech capstone project designed to make online couture shopping more personalized, immersive, and fit-conscious.

The project explores a common pain point in fashion e-commerce: shoppers are expected to make expensive, highly personal purchase decisions using only static images and generic size charts. To challenge that model, I designed a web-based prototype that combines luxury product discovery with a guided body-scan-inspired measurement flow and interactive 3D mannequin visualization.

Built in Framer with custom React components, CMS-driven product pages, and 3D/AR exploration, Haizoom Couture demonstrates how emerging technology can support a more confident and emotionally engaging shopping experience.

challenges

Luxury fashion depends on emotion, trust, and precision — but most online shopping experiences still rely on the same flat tools: product photos, size charts, and guesswork.

The challenge was to design a more personalized e-commerce experience that could help users feel confident before purchasing, while still feeling elevated enough for a couture-inspired brand. The experience needed to balance visual luxury with technical feasibility, turning body measurement and 3D visualization into something approachable, elegant, and useful.

The core problem was not simply sizing. It was confidence. How might a fashion platform help shoppers better understand fit, visualize garments, and feel personally seen before they commit to a purchase?

solutions

I designed Haizoom Couture as a web-based fashion-tech prototype centered around three connected experiences: luxury product discovery, body-scan-inspired personalization, and interactive 3D visualization.

The platform includes a guided measurement wizard where users enter basic body metrics and move through a body-scan-style flow. These inputs generate a personalized mannequin direction and connect to an interactive 3D viewer where users can explore fit-related measurements in a more visual way.

I also built a CMS structure in Framer to support scalable product pages, collection-based browsing, and a more editorial luxury shopping experience. Beyond the interface, I explored real-world implementation paths using tools and technologies such as Framer, React/TSX overrides, Sketchfab-style 3D viewers, model-viewer, AR Quick Look, CLO3D, and 3DLOOK’s Mobile Tailor measurement concept.

The result is a prototype that feels polished on the surface, but is grounded in a realistic product pipeline underneath.

impact

Haizoom Couture transformed from a visual fashion concept into a strategic, working product prototype that connects UX design, 3D technology, and luxury e-commerce.

The project demonstrates how body measurement, personalization, and 3D visualization can work together to address one of online fashion’s biggest pain points: uncertainty around fit. Instead of treating body scanning as a one-time sizing tool, the project positions it as the foundation for a smarter personalization system that could support better product recommendations, avatar-based previews, and future made-to-measure workflows.

For employers and product teams, this project showcases my ability to move across the full design process — from research and product strategy to interface design, prototyping, technical problem-solving, CMS setup, and emerging technology exploration.
